Who is Pixie?
To understand what Pixie Drip means we first need to understand who Pixie is. After all, the company has been named after her.
Pixie is an Indian rescue dog that found a loving home when she needed one the most. Being a stray dog in a harsh world, Pixie was abused and hurt to the point her abdomen would not stay in place as she passed bowels. She was even infected with worms and found it hard to digest food. She endured suffering till the day she was taken in by her forever home.
The Recovery
After proper vaccination and care, Pixie was soon healthy and Strong. It was hard for her to trust her new parents. To her, they looked like the humans that threw stones at her and abused her. However, after a few weeks Pixie took a leap of faith and began to trust them. They started seeing her playful and cuddly side. They loved seeing her run and jump around after so many weeks of her just being scared in a corner.
Something Out of a Fairytale
Pixie’s parents loved the way she’d playfully bark and run around smiling. The way she was always mischievous with a grin on her face seemed like something out of a fairytale, which is why they decided to name her “Pixie”. A Pixie is a mythological sprite that is cheerful and mischievous. And if you ever saw Pixie, that’s exactly how you would describe her.
The Struggle of a Fashion Enthusiast
Pixie loves going shopping for collars, leashes and toys. Her family would lay all the options on the floor and watch Pixie pick out her own collars. She would look so happy doing it, if you ever saw her you’d say she’s obsessed with fashion. Although she loved picking them out, she never found the market collars comfortable and would always vigorously scratch her neck. Which is why, they would have to get her a new one every week. They tried finding the perfect collar for her but the Indian market had way too little options.
Fine. We'll Do it Ourselves.
After countless failed efforts, her family decided to make the collar by themselves. After consulting with tailors for what seemed like an eternity, they finally developed a collar that was worthy of Pixie. With god’s grace not only did Pixie love her collar, she stopped scratching her neck altogether.
New Endeavours
The sheer happiness of Pixie motivated her humans to venture out to provide other forever homes with the option of perfect dog accessories. The option to see their doggos comfortable and happy, without having to go through all the efforts. After rigorous efforts to assemble the perfect team, their vision had changed to reality and that’s how Pixie Drip was formed.
